What are the main braking methods for electronic scooters?
1. Electronic front handle brake
It is the most traditional brake type for the electric scooters. It is designed to be suitable for rider's habit, but the handle brake design is not good for folding and carrying.
2. Electric front button/ valve brake
This button /valve brake method is the most common brake on the electric adult scooters. The function is as same as the electric front handle brake, but it increase the portability. This brake type usually apply with the rear wheel, using the valve to control the brake. It also includes the mechanical disc brake, which is the safest brake system for the e-scooter so far.
3. Rear wheel physical brake
The rider use the rear mudguard to brake the electric scooter. It is usually used as an emergency brake. When the electronic brake is not working, release your finger on the accelerator, and at the same time, put one of your foot to the rear mudguard, the speed will be slower and finally the electric scooter will stop.
